You must be a resident of the 55+ Active Adult retirement community of Sun City Anthem at Merrill Ranch (SCAMR) by Del Webb in order to join the SCAMR Pickleball Club. Only residents of the retirement side have access to the Union Center pickleball courts and can join our club!

America’s fastest growing sport is at Sun City Anthem at Merrill Ranch (SCAMR), where the SCAMR Pickleball Club boasts over 400 active members. We are an enthusiastic and fun group of people enjoying the unique game of Pickleball, offering recreational and competitive play ranging in playing levels from Beginner to 5.0.
Our eight courts are located on the north side of the Union Center. Balls are provided for members and are located in the dispensers by the entry gates of the courts.
The courts are available for use for both non-members and members of the SCAMR Pickleball Club based on a fixed court schedule.
Residents of SCAMR who are non-members have access to the pickleball courts during Open Play sessions and must bring their own paddles and balls. Note that equipment is available for sign-out at the Union Center for individuals who want to try the game before joining.
